Mr. Kamps will address concerns regarding:
• The proposed transport of radioactive steam generators through the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Seaway.
• The proposed deep underground radioactive dump, for much of the waste from 20 Ontario reactors, beneath Lake Huron’s shores near Kincardine, Ontario. The draft EIS is due out this March, with a 6 month comment period, followed by hearings.
• The current situation for U.S radioactive reactor waste.
• Address briefly the situation in Japan.
